Lockdown Drill at Superhero School
Not only does this book provide crucial advice on what to do in the case of a lockdown (such as locking the door, remaining quiet, etc.) but it is presented in a friendly and digestible way for kids to understand.
What I loved about the book was the inclusivity of the images which reflected the diversity of today's classrooms. I think this is a wonderful tool for teaching kids about lockdowns in a friendly way. As the book says, "Superheroes are always prepared!" This book is a great way to make sure your Superhero-In-Training is prepared in an empowering way.​
